Compare
Commission audit software, compared honestly.
Most commission tracking tools are built for agencies and start with a demo. Commission Guardian is built for the individual life and health agent who just wants to know whether the last statement paid correctly. Here is the difference, and what we do not do.
Try it before you talk to anyone
Commission Guardian: Run a real statement scan free, no card, no call
Typical agency tools: Most tools require a demo or sales call first
Carrier portal logins
Commission Guardian: Never asked for — you upload a statement file
Typical agency tools: Several tools connect to carrier portals with your credentials
Who it is built for
Commission Guardian: Independent life and health agents and small agencies
Typical agency tools: Usually priced and configured for larger agencies
Setup time
Commission Guardian: Add one carrier and rate, drop in a statement, see results in minutes
Typical agency tools: Onboarding and data mapping handled by their team
Price you can see
Commission Guardian: $29 or $49 per month, published on the site
Typical agency tools: Quote-based or per-seat pricing is common
Dispute letters
Commission Guardian: Generated for you from the flagged lines
Typical agency tools: Reporting is common; ready-to-send letters are not

What we are not
- We are not a CRM or an agency management system.
- We do not run payroll or pay downline agents.
- We do not pull data out of carrier portals for you.
- We cannot tell you your contracted rate — you enter it, because it is specific to your contract.
Questions agents ask before signing up
Do I have to give you my carrier logins?
No. You add the carrier, product and your contracted rate, then upload or drop in the statement file the carrier already sends you.
What file types can I scan?
CSV, TSV, TXT and Excel files scan directly in your browser. PDF statements go through the upload scanner.
How long does a scan take?
Usually under a minute for a typical monthly statement.
Who can see my statements?
Only your account. Your book of business, statements and findings are isolated to your login and are not shared with other agents or agencies.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Access to reports ends when your plan ends. You can export your findings to CSV at any time while your account is active, and you can ask us to delete your data.
Is the free audit really free?
Yes — one carrier, one saved scan, no card. It shows you the total dollars missing and how many lines are affected. The policy-by-policy report and dispute letters come with a plan.
